Florida Flavors was born from a simple belief: the best way to tell Florida's story is through the recipes shared around our family tables. As America approached its 250th anniversary, we set out on a mission to document the culinary heritage that has nourished the Sunshine State for generations. 

Florida has always been more than just one flavor. From the oak-shaded landscapes of North Florida to the tropical breezes of the Keys, our state has long been a patchwork of distinct regions, each with its own local harvest, traditions, and tastes. That is why we called on our senior community, the true keepers of our traditions, to help us curate this historic collection.

A State Defined by Five Regions

To ensure every corner of Florida was represented, we selected exactly four signature recipes from each of our five regions. We were not just looking for ingredients. We were looking for the stories behind the citrus, the secrets of the coastal catch, and the family traditions that have turned local harvests into lifelong memories.
